Jam Cruise 15 January 20-25, 2017
Miami • Ocho Rios, Jamaica • Grand Cayman Island
Jam Cruise 15 will be leaving from the same place, PortMiami, but on a new ship! Our maiden voyage on NCL will be intimate and exciting as we sail to familiar places. We last visited Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman Island on Jam Cruise 8 and are once again making these port stops part of our Jam Cruise adventure. After cruisin' the Caribbean and dancing the night away on board, these historic destinations are going to make the ultimate music vacation even better! Take advantage of excursion opportunities, beautiful beaches, local food, culture, and so much more...
Miami, Florida - January 20th
Cruisers can conveniently fly in and out of nearby Miami International Airport from anywhere in the world. Embarkation will begin early afternoon on January 20th with the ship leaving port as the sun sets, just in time for the annual Sail Away Party on the Pool Deck. Leave your worries on the shore as we sail off into the horizon!
Day at Sea - January 21st
There's nothing quite like looking around and seeing nothing but sunshine and open sea while surrounded by your Jam Cruise family! Days at Sea make up the bread and butter of Jam Cruise, with around the clock music and a full slate of activities and extras happening around the ship. As we make our way towards Jamaica to the tune of some of our favorite jams, take in all the sights and sounds of our first day at sea.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica - January 22nd
Situated on Jamaica's northern coast, Ocho Rios is a fishing village at heart. The island town offers a wide variety of tourism and exploration opportunities for Jam Cruisers to take advantage of while in port. Feeling adventurous? Check out some of the excursions offered, like zip-lining and snorkeling, or head to one of the local gems such as Dunn's River Waterfalls or Blue Hole. Prefer to take it easy and enjoy the island life? Head to the beach and grab a cold one and some of the jerk chicken this area is known for.
Grand Cayman Island - January 23rd
As the largest of the Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman truly is a grand destination! The island boasts gorgeous white sandy beaches, crystal clear water, majestic marine life, and world-class shopping. The cruise terminal is located on the island's western end in George Town, where Jam Cruisers will have all the excitement and adventure for a perfect tropical day right at their fingertips. Take in the local culture by enjoying a freshly caught seafood lunch or one of the island’s other Caribbean specialities. Check out the Seven Mile Beach for an afternoon of sun & sand or take advantage of the diving & snorkeling opportunities to get up close and personal with some of the island’s marine life.
Day at Sea - January 24th
After four days of musical and nautical exploration, Jam Cruise brings it home with one last day at sea before arriving back in Miami. Ease into your day with a spa service, yoga, or some pool time before enjoying the final stretch of our Jam Cruise 15 adventure. The panorama views of the ocean provide the ultimate backdrop for our final day together on the ship. Make this day a day to remember - for it's back to reality when we arrive in port early the next morning!
